Parama pada vaasulu Sri. Ambatipudi Simhachalam garu, my maternal grandfather was born on this auspicious day, "Dola Pournami" around hundred and twenty years ago at "Baruva''(presently under Srikakulam District) formerly in Madras presidency to Late Sri Lakshmi Narasimham and Late Lakshmi Bhai.
Sri. Simhachalam Garu did his Bachelor’s at Vizianagaram, at Madras Law College, and started his practice at Berhampur. He became a leading Criminal Lawyer of the town and successfully continued his practice before he passed away at the young age of 40 years in 1936. He was an hard working ,sincre and honest lawyer strictly adhering to ``Satya and Dharma''
His victory over Justice Humes in a contempt case brought him name and fame.
Justice. Humes ,after losing his case left to U.K resigning his job.
He was ardent lover of classical music and was a devotee of Lord Sri Krishna.
He has felicitated many renowned musicians and scholars like Dwaram Venkata Swamy naidu and Harikadha Pitamaha Sri. Aadibhatla Narayana Dasu, etc.
He was one of the founders of "Sanatana Dhrma Samajam'' at Berhampore.
He had the blessings of Kanchi paramaccharya Sri.Sri.Sri.Chandra Sekhara maha Swamy and he was fortunate to get Krishna mantropadesam from Sri.Paramachaarya .
The former President of India Sri.V.V.Giri Was his junior.
