Sri Muralimohan Vinukonda is a musician, a music composer and a cultural journalist.
Though he is born and brought up in Orissa, he has been closely associated with Vizianagaram, since his childhood. In pursuit of his career, he came to Vizianagaram in April 1981. He learnt music education under the tutelage of Sri.Tirupati Gopala Krishna garu and simultaneously he also learnt music at Maharaja`s music college. He can be reffered as the first cultural journalist of Vizianagaram too. He had started his journalist career at Vizianagaram in the year 1903 .He worked as the cultural correspondent of Andhra Prabha and The Indian Express.

He maintained exclusive cultural Pages named, `Ranjani' and `Kala Jyothi’ in Andhra Bhoomi and Andhra Jyothi, respectively.
He wrote exclusive columns like Raaga Ranjani, Raga maalika , Endaro mahaanubhaavulu.. dealing with Indian classical ragas and film music, which had become very popular.
As a music composer, he composed music to the hymns written by Sri Samavedam Shanmukha Sarma known as ‘Siva Padam’. These 111 keertans were composed in 111 Ragas and were presented in Madras Music academy, and in kala bharathi, Visakhapatnam. These songs were instant hits and were recorded by popular singers Sri S.P.Bala Subrahmanyam and Smt sailaja.
He had also composed music for the Strotras of Aadisankaraachaarya which were rendered by Sri Vijay Yesudas and Sri Balasubrahnmanyam.
Presently he is working on an important project… bringing the compositions of Sri.Kanta Krishnamaachaarya, who was a 12th-13th century composer and an ardent devotee of Lord varaaha Narasimha of Simhachalam. KRISHNAMAACHAARYA WROTE FOUR LAKHS OF VERSES PRAISING THE LORD, OF WHICH ONLY 200 ARE AVAILABLE. He had launched a foundation with the support of Sadguru Sri.Sivaananda Murthy garu of Bheemili, Dr.Ananda Gajapathi raju of Vizianagram, Dr.P.Suseela garu , and Sri.Bhuvana Chandra garu film lyric writer. He had composed music to the compositions of Krishnamayya in a very simple and lucid style so that anybody can sing the songs. Keeping the younger generation in view, He developed an innovative music style of his own fusing indian Classical melody with western Rock and named it as MELODIC ROCK. Presently, he lives in Visakhapatnam.
